SOLOMON’S WAY HOUSING MODEL
Most Recovery Homes exist in low income "war zones" that expose inhabitants to the same traumatic environments that caused many of the issues they are seeking to resolve.
Individuals grouped solely by gender.
No progress tracking to understand the success rate of rehab programs.
No follow-up with previous clients to provide positive reinforcement and resources.
Housing located in safe neighborhoods and adheres to National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) and state housing requirements.
Members grouped according to common needs and backgrounds to effectively promote collaboration and group healing.
Partnerships curated with local health, social and financial resources to provide community support to our members.
Progress of our members tracked and provided to state and federal agencies in order to amend standards and legislation.
Educational resources made available to members.
If you do not feel safe in your housing environment, we will make every effort to move you into another Solomon’s Way property as soon as a position becomes available.
Members have first choice when moving between properties.
We have a zero tolerance substance policy for group housing settings. Random testing will be administered to all members in these tiers. Although we are primarily a housing provider (not a recovery/rehabilitation facility) we adhere to the National Alliance of Recovery Residences (NARR) standards to ensure that our group housing remains safe and sober.
WE HAVE DECIDED TO ADHERE TO MORE RIGOROUS HOUSING STANDARDS THAN THE STATE REQUIREMENTS SO THAT OUR MEMBERS GET THE BEST RESIDENCY EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE.
